Donald Joseph Qualls better known as the screen name DJ Qualls was born in the US. He is a producer, actor and model. Shooting to fame for his work on Road Trip he has since appeared in over 20 feature films, including The New Guy Hustle & Flow as well as The Core. The actor has also been featured in more than 22 shows on television including Breaking Bad Supernatural Scrubs Lost Law & Order and others. Qualls was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma at age 14 and has been fighting this disease since. Following two years of treatment his cancer went into remission. Treatment at a young time had negative effects on his body. This impeded his growth. Once he started acting financial security seemed to be his goal because his experience with poverty had been a part of his life. I've been living so cheaply for so long I have to have that financial security or my life feels uncontrollable for me he said in an interview. In addition, when he thinks back to his childhood He wants to change the course of the problem of bullying. The cruelty he experiences breaks his heart. He claims that his dream job would be that of father figures in reality and in film. The director doesn't choose him to play those parts, however, he claims. It would be wonderful to be one day an adult, and you can spend much less time working and devote it to his son.
